Pottery Books

Here are a few book suggestions that I have enjoyed.

Miller's Ceramics of the '20s and '30s, A Collector's Guide , by Frankie Leibe, ISBN 1840000686

This practical guide is an introduction to the subject. Wares are organized by designer/factory and includes names such as Clarice Cliff and Susie Cooper.

A Collectors History of English Pottery , 5th Edition, by Griselda Lewis , ISBN 1851492917

A comprehensive overview of pottery in England from earliest times to the late twentieth century, it traces the links in the development of English pottery and puts them into historical context.

Slipware , Shire album number 297 , by David Barker , ISBN 0747802211

This book offers an introduction to the slipwares of England and Wales and highlights some of the most important production centres.
