Burrell Astbury Steam - Burrell - The Build - Kit 1

 

Signed up with ModelWorks at the recent Model Engineer Exhibition at Sandown. By agreement the first 3 kits arrived together mid January 2004.

Kit 01 is the two front wheels. Have been cleaning up the spokes with a flap wheel and starting to assemble. No problems so far.

At this stage the components have been glued into place with the Araldite supplied, a standard two part epoxy adhesive. When cleaning this up the solvent Acetone proved useful, should be available from your local chemist although you may need to pre-order.
